The Enterprise

The beginnings of the Hari Hotel date back to as far as 1873 when teacher Christian Hari accommodated his first guests on the Schlegeli and thus laid the foundation for tourism in Adelboden. Since 1960 the Hari Hotel is a 100 % family-owned stock corporation. The friendly hotel combines well-proven traditions with constant innovation and is run according to Christian principles.

Since summer 2005 the Hari Hotel is led by Bernd und Nikola Zanker. Having worked for several years as a cook, Bernd Zanker gained experience in a number of European cuisines. Then he studied business management with a focus on the hotel business. His wife Nikola is a teacher, thus continuing an old tradition of our hotel: since its beginnings, the Hari Hotel has always been led by teachers. Three children complete the Zanker family.
